Po-Chun Wang is currently working on her DMA in composition at University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is studying with Chen-Yi, James Mobberly, Zhou-Long and Paul Rudy in the Conservatory of Music. Wang worked on her MM in Boston University with Lukas Foss and Steven Weigt. Wang received the Ellen Taafe Zwillich composition prize from IAWM, Accent 03/Music 03 composition competition first prize,and had been invited to University of California, Davis summer festival. Wang's composition work, Three Memories-for children's ensemble, is published by RAI-Trade in Rome, Italy.

Wang attneded Berklee College of Music at 1999. During that time, she studied composition, filme scoring, jazz composition, song writing , and arranging. While at Berklee, Wang worked with Marti Epstein and John Bavicchi. In 2002, she got Boston Symphony Hall young composer award.
